It doesn't take much to DOODLE. Everyone does it at some point, even if they don't realize it. You don't have to be an artist either. Everyone from every part of the world expresses themselves through art. The great part about DOODLES is that they show who you are. What you like, what you do, and how you do things...it's all shown through your DOODLES. TVMS DOODLES, and through our DOODLES we are DRAWN TOGETHER.

Terra Vista Middle School yearbook honored with appearance in Walsworth's exclusive Possibilities book Kansas City, Mo. (Oct. 29, 2010) - The Tiger Stripes yearbook at Terra Vista Middle School has been chosen as one of the select few to be included in the 2010 edition of Walsworth Publishing Company's prestigious Possibilities publication. Possibilities is an annual idea book produced by Walsworth that is designed to showcase some of the best work done by the company's yearbooks over the previous year. The 288-page hardcover book serves as an idea generator for students across the nation, showing examples of outstanding theme development, design, writing and photography. The 2010 volume of Possibilities features 623 examples from 187 yearbooks. Those examples represent a small percentage of Walsworth's customer base, making an appearance in the book an exclusive accomplishment. Work appearing in this book is displayed at regional, state and national conventions and workshops throughout the year, and countless yearbook staffs across the country will refer to Possibilities as a premier source for inspiration. The Terra Vista Middle School yearbook was produced under the direction of Janet Gruner, yearbook adviser. Staff members were: Alexis Bragg, Mariah Delgado, Audrey Garza, Persophone Guitron, Miranda Hernandez, Whitney McKenzie, Meagan Olive, and Breanna Velasquez - current 9th graders at Frenship High School. "I watched the hard work and dedication these students and their adviser put into creating this yearbook. Not many people produce a book in less than a year, never mind that these were students who had other classes and obligations during that time," said Candis Brinegar, the Walsworth yearbook sales representative for the school. "The students on this staff should be proud of the result - a book that the students at their school will cherish forever," Brinegar said.

The West Texas winds gently blew through the green field of ripening cotton, and the sun rose across an undeveloped expanse of open land. Both whispered of the promise of thousands of futures to come. As far as the eye could see, this vast spread of land was much like the school that would soon rest upon it, filled with endless potential and hope of what was certain to come.
Months of planning, months of building, and months of expectations pointed as certainly as the summer sun to the day the new school opened her arms to hundreds of students for the first time. Happy faces filled with wonder bounced inside, bringing hallways and classrooms to life with sounds of chattering and laughter. The students, the teachers, the staff, and the administration felt her pulse fall into rhythm with their own as the once open land welcomed Terra Vista home.
