CIS-South Plains engages students in learning through case management and whole-school services. Many students and their families have difficulty accessing public and private community services. Through a school-based coordinator, Communities In School brings local resources directly to the student in the public-school setting.
These services include:
-Supportive guidance and counseling
-Tutoring and academic enrichment
-College preparation and pre-employment training
-Health, basic needs, fitness, and mental health
-Mentoring and adult advocates
-Parental Involvement
