Mr. Sanchez has been the Head Director at Terra Vista Middle School since 2019. His previous band directing experiences include eight years as the Head Director at Cavazos Middle School in Lubbock TX and five years as an Assistant Director in Roma TX in the Rio Grande Valley.  Mr. Sanchez currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Texas A&M University Kingsville and a Masters Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech University. Mr. Sanchez is active in Lubbock as a private lesson instructor, band clinician, and local performer. He has performed with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, Moonlight Musicals, The Westwind Brass Band, The Frontier Big Band, The Texas Tech Summer Jazz Orchestra, The Rolling Thunder Trombone Quartet and many other performing groups in the Lubbock area. Mr. Sanchez is a member of The Texas Music Educators Association and The Texas Bandmasters Association. Mr. Sanchez’s hobbies include weightlifting, woodworking, guitars, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He resides in Lubbock TX with his wife and three children.
