For followers of Frenship Athletics, the work ethic and year-round dedication of Frenship High School’s Cross Country team is no secret. In the midst of the uncertainty brought by COVID-19, that team’s commitment to constant improvement through hard work has not wavered.

Frenship's Tiger Bites program provides both federally funded and donation-based food assistance to any child and family in Frenship ISD that may need assistance. Through weekend food bags, summer feeding programs, Thanksgiving meals, and food assistance during Winter Break, Frenship works with community partners to help serve students in need.

Ida Cisneros, FMS RLA teacher, was selected as a finalist to become Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year after being chosen Region 17 Secondary Teacher of the Year earlier this summer. She is one of three finalists across the state!

Emily Hart teaches Tech Apps, a technology development class, to sixth, seventh and eighth grade Virtual Learning students, and is using her love for curriculum building to aide her in creating a fun, different virtual atmosphere to grow her students computer related skills and better ready them for their futures.

The Frenship High School graduating class of 2020 presented $7,000 in donations to multiple recipients over the summer. Due to the ignition of the pandemic in the spring of their senior year, many activities they raised funds for, were cancelled.

During the August 17 school board meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees approved an order calling for a bond election on November 3, 2020. The bond election was previously scheduled for May but was postponed due to COVID-19.

Frenship teachers and staff gathered for a day of learning, development and connection.

As Frenship ISD prepares for the upcoming school year, providing the cleanest environment for students, teachers and staff is top priority.

Starting August 11 at 8 a.m., parents will be able to view their student's class schedule or teacher assignments.
