Middle School Track Teams Set Records for Historic Seasons

Terra Vista Middle School

Both the 7th and 8th grade track teams won every track meet during the regular season and won the Stripes Zone Meet for the first time in school history.

7th Grade New School Records:

-Broke the school record in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400 relays

-Runner up in Team point totals at the City Track Meet

-City Champions in the 4x200 and 4x400 relays

-15 kids qualified for the City Track Meet

 

8th Grade New School Records:

-Broke the school record in the 4x200 relay and in High Jump

-3rd place in Team point totals at the City Track Meet

-City Champions in the 4x200 relay.

-23 kids qualified for the City Track Meet

 

Frenship Middle School

The Frenship Middle School track teams had 25 new personal athlete records broken this season and set three new school records – just at the City Meet!

Seven eighth grade girls earned points for their team and 11 seventh grade girls earned points for their team, putting the seventh grade girls team in first place overall at the City Meet.

New Records Set:

4x200 Relay, Champions—New School Record

Triple Jump, New School Record

High Jump, Champion - Tied the School Record

 

Heritage Middle School

Heritage Middle School was represented in 13 out of the 16 eighth grade girl’s events at the City Meet and 11 of 16 seventh grade girl’s events, and nineteen 8th grade boys and fourteen 7th grade boys also competed.

8th Grade New Records Set:

200 Meter Dash (8th grade girl and 8th grade boy)
