My name is Coach Acebedo, and I’m excited to be teaching and coaching this year at Terra Vista. I am an Army Veteran that served for 24 years before retiring in 2020. I graduated from Texas Tech University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I will be teaching 7th Grade Texas History this year. I’m passionate about bringing history to life for my students and helping them connect with the rich past of our great state. Outside the classroom, I will also coach 7th and 8th grade boys' athletics, where I focus on building teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills. My goal is to help students succeed both academically and athletically, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together this year!
