During a ceremony on Thursday, nine Frenship High School students were recognized for earning the Seal of Biliteracy, an accomplishment that marks the attainment of high-level mastery of two or more languages.

This week two Frenship teachers were honored at the Staked Plains Council of Social Studies Banquet. Matt Bruce from Alcove Trails Middle School was named the Middle School Social Studies Teacher of the Year and Saundra Wimberley from Crestview Elementary was named the Elementary Social Studies Teacher of the Year.

Frenship High School Construction and Manufacturing students are using their hands and hearts to give back to the community through this year’s Casas for CASA fundraiser, building a one-of-a-kind playhouse to benefit children in foster care.

Students in the fashion design program at Frenship High School are using their skills to support cancer patients and spread kindness one stitch at a time. Their handcrafted caps and blankets are being donated to families through Ronald McDonald House Charities.
