Hello and Welcome to 7th grade Math!

 

I am so excited to begin this journey at Terra Vista Middle School.  I know we will have a great school year!

 

I want to take this moment to introduce myself.  I was born and raised in Lubbock.  I graduated from Lubbock High and attended Texas Tech for a few semesters.  I continued my post secondary education and earned both of my degrees at the University of Texas in San Antonio.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction.    

 

I began my teaching career in San Antonio, TX and then moved to Ardmore, OK.  I have been in education for 12 years and have taught middle school math.   I was also the instructional coach at my campus during my time in Oklahoma.  I am excited to return home and serve my community.

 

I believe every student can learn and grow.  I look forward to meeting my students and starting the school year! Go Tigers!!!
