Officer Jacob Garza began his law enforcement career working for the Lubbock County Sheriff’s office where he worked for three years and rose to the rank of corporal. Jacob jumped at the chance to work as a School Resource Officer (SRO) with Lamesa ISD and discovered a love for working as a school police officer.
Jacob worked for Lamesa ISD for five years where, in addition to his regular patrol duties, he taught several classes, including Law Enforcement 1 and 2.
After much prayer and consultation with family, Jacob came to work for Frenship ISD in August of 2018. Jacob is heavily involved with the Texas Association of School Resource Officers (TASRO) and currently serves as 1st Vice President of that organization.
Jacob is assigned to Terra Vista Middle School and Westwind Elementary.
